Transformers: The Movie vs The TV Show

Just one thing...

How come they can kill each other in the Movie but they can't even score a hit on each other a la G.I Joe in the TV show.

Hell, the comic series was incredibly violent. Arms getting torn/ripped/incinerated were a common occurance. Of course, ol' Ratchet would usually have a spare handy. ;)

(5th issue, almost all the Autobots, having just having been whomped by Shockwave, are hung out like slabs of meat, including wires dangling like arteries and splotches of oil caked like blood... AND WHERE IS IRONHIDE'S LOWER BODY!!??!)

The OG movie was the shit.

Movie is over in 2 hrs if that.

TV series has to last an entire season.

Can't really have characters dying off on tv.
