formnkaos forum.
hey ive been on fnk for i thikn like 3 yrs or somehitng and ive seen the party scene change quite a bit in even that little of time........but....is fnk now more of a club forum more than it is a "rave"forum.....or is it more of a city events type site?just kinda curious cuz over the past few years i noticed that the amount of club promoting compared to the amount of rave promoting has risen quite a bit to when i forst joined fnk....maybe the rave scene is dying or becomng more commercial......................i know its way more maintstream but...i dunno.....vancouvers scene seems weird...and ive never experienced anuhter cities scene.....hmmm.................anywyaz.. .i love music...and its the weapon of the future.....totally......

its not really about form&kaos anymore, at a time is was but times change. the foundation to which we built on was all that is form and chaos in our 'sense' or community offline, hence the logo designed around the ying/yang (amoung other factors). however the website has developed far beyond our original expectations. FNK is about music, party, and friends. anything you find outside these three core factors is merely filler. what is needed is such a staggering renewal its hard for a small number of admins (myself as the developer) to refresh such a large community. so much to come in the future.

FNK : The beginning
“Form & Kaos” originated in the early part of the millennium reflecting two local Vancouver tag team DJs – Form (Lex) and Kaos (Kevin). This site was started, not only to inform their followers on their progress in music, but to create an avenue for the Vancouver community to get involved in the local music industry. Over time, our site grew with new members and more topics – some informative, and some pure entertainment.
The logo symbolizes the fusion of the two DJs and their unique sound of both breaks & scratching. It’s the patience of “form” who lays the beat and the wrath of “kaos” who freeform scratches over it. The design for the logo was created by the two DJs to reflect their differing talents and hand drawn by a member (Jon). The term “FNK” started as an acronym for the duo Form & Kaos. Over the years, the name stuck, and we continued with it and figured it would be a bit catchier for the members on the board. I guess that worked :) ! I (as the GM and co-owner) hope that the site continues to grow.. Old members returning, new members continuing to register and the FNK name to hold credibility in the Vancouver music industry, and one day recognized globally. Welcome back and enjoy!

I (as the janitor) hope that the site continues to grow, old members return, new users come, world peace happens, the Canucks get past the first playoff round and it snows soon. :) Welcome back!
