Where did this thread come from.. wow. Well interesting idea, but the views on it are somewhat crossed. Before I would implement such a concept I would first poll the website, please what your asking it to divide FNK down the middle.

-- The fact we could not have forums based on user age, as ldub pointed out anyone can change them.

-- Password protected forums are possible but somewhat stupid to 'keep out' the young ones.

-- Creating secret eliteis groups by invite is tedious and time consuming for admins. I highly doubt we will implement that again.

My main idea on such a topic would be to create a Usergroup called "19+" or something like such. Users could apply for this usergroup and on authorization be accepted into it, allowing them special features geared to that usergroup. This idea is already being put together by me for promoters and deejays. You can apply yourself to as many usergroups as allows.

Personally the best solution would be to angle FNK to bring in an older crowd of people all together.. tell your friends to join?

^the last part of your mission statement was not what i wanted at all

i mean i dont want younger people not to join, i like laughing sometimes. also they are part of our ever stuggling scene.

my post was to just spark an interest or to voice an idea on the fact that a portion of the board could be dedicated to older members, not the entire thing...........the last thing i want is for this board to turn into somehting like clubvibes.

maybe this isnt a possibility since there are a ton of flaws, i'm ok with that. its not like im dying to have a 19+ section, i just wanted to see other peoples views on it.

on a lighter note, if this were to happen would we allow myles in? your fake id aint going to work on me man :kam:

ya..see whenever someone trys to say an idea..everyone freask out on the person. I thought we where aloud to speak r mind..i guess not on here. im not being mean. i just dont like the way everyone is so rude on here...cant we all get along. maybe it was a bad idea for the 19+ section..but he wanted peoples opinions...i know im not 19+ but i think it would be a good idea for the older people to talk about htings they dont want younger peopel to hear..and that should be aloud...cause look what happened when adam thought of the idea..most of the young people freaked out...so i just dont get it...i think we should all just calm down..u know..i dunno..maybe im wrong

I am in favor of a older member "club" if you will.. Maybe a sub-forum in the lounge called "The Bar" with only users in the above nineteen uergroup. But poor ppl like BeBu wouldnt be allowed strickly becuase we couldnt favor..

Saskatchewan had free apple pie!!! I don't seem to remember this which means i probably didn't get any - but I so remember the Saskatchewan pavillion - fuck, where's MY free pie damnit!!

Other than that, i kinda liked the one with all the Ramses II stuff in it, i'm not sure if it was the Egyptian pavillion or not, but it was cool.

So, a section for 19+, and any "mature" 17-18 year olds? How would you delegate that? There obviously should be an exam, with 20 multiple choice questions, 10 matching, and a written essay on your maturity level, and why you should be accepted into this elite society.

Well why don't we put an intelligent discussion only area in place. Most other boards have them. Then it can be moderated so that only valid points are expressed. Not foolish remarks. I'm sure there are many mature users on fnk that are not 19+. Also there are many people of age that are very immature. This gives everyone a chance to speak that wish to express a mature point of view. While moderating anything that is seen as immature and disruptive to the main topic.

I know this doesn't really block out all the poor spelling. But then again I'm not the best speller myself. I would like to see my points as valid though.
