Thoughts' AND/OR Complaints on the new 'FNK Vancouver Event Calendar'

you should have a list that you can just click on that goes in order by date so that you can see all of the upcoming parties without having to open 800 differnt post to get the one you are looking for. this way everything is there at once. dont elaborate on this page. if someone wants to see the flyer, click on the party link and it will bring you to more info. you should list all the parties whether they are on teh island, in van or somewhere else. that would be good colorcoded too. green gotthe island blue for van red for faraway...

I like smaller parties..don't get me wrong..

It's really $20/month, $0.66 /day (custom banner design included)..that works out to $5/week (the cost of combo @ mcdicks) which is very reasonable.

Then again you could resort to other means of promotion such as posting paper flyers or designing your own flyers to hand out at parties. Keep in mind both of these ideas cost time, money & labor.

if 1 person comes to your show because of a banner on fnk it's paid for itself...if the price is too steep I suggest the calendar as it's 100% free & interactive..


Also we did ask Clint at teamharcore if he wanted to merge the old system into fnk but we never came to a conclusion...

Actually, if you read the original info thread, it's $20 for the entire month, and extra week out of the month costing $10. :)

This sounds pretty blunt but I think it totally sucks for clubs.

Really cool but low budget electronic clubnights (such as Big Trouble, Wednesdays @ The Lotus. and many many others) get no recognition. The calander helps a bit but it's not as interactive as a message board.

message boards should be for just that, message postings and chat. all events should be segregated to the calendar. however this is a lengthy process that involves time and system management. fnk is defiantly in a content/organizational limbo at the moment, however these changes will secure a strong future in the longrun.
