It's so wierd that a whole generation of people are catching on to "Mad World ~ Gary Jules" from that commercial.

You have to watch the movie Donnie Darko... it's so much more relevant in there.

Exactly! That song is amazing. It fits the commercial in some twisted way but it fits Donnie Darko so much more.

^^ i havent seen that movie in so long...i should go rent it soon. also, that game looks amaizing, i never have time to play games, but if i did/do, thats on my list to try. and yes, the song is so good too

If you rent the movie, make sure to get the directors cut. It's one of the few I've seen that isn't just a bunch of filler footage, but actually makes more sense then the original.

And the commercial used for the game is the actual game graphics. That's how good it looks while you're playing, and it's so bloody addictive.

Agreed. I love Mad World.. it was originally done by Tears For Fears, but I prefer the Gary Jules cover. :)

I was shocked when marketting put that song into the gears of war commercial, also impressed. The song makes the commercial look excellent.


gears of war is a stellar game too.. just when you think its over. NOPE.

that song for that kind of commercial was my idea. everyone and their mom and youtube would have made a gears of war commercial with either Requiem for a Dream or some metal song.

but in this case, you have juxtaposition.
