Robot Chicken is the greatest thing to hit my television in years. Aqua Teen Hunger Force is sweet.. any show that has shit randomly blowing up in it is good enough for my stoned ass.

I'm also a big fan of Afro Samurai. Brilliant!

I started watching Harvey Birdman & Robot Chicken this past fall. It's good stuff!

I enjoy how the show Harvey Birdman is SO quick; much quicker than Family Guy. Oh my god... o___O But I love it though.:278:

King of the Hill - no contest, one of the greatest animated series of all time. People my age always seem to overlook this one because the humour is subtle, where as it's competition is slapstick silly-fests like Family Guy,American Dad and the new gen Simpsons.

I also love the Brak Show and Aqua Teen Hunger Force!

I would agree, that show is one of the best written toons in all my years of watching.. and it's been awhile. peggy hill, too funny.

My only complaint is that most of these shows are only 15 minutes long WITH commercials.. I want an hour of Aqua Teen Hunger Force mang.

And Evil Duerr... I agree on the King of the Hill post. I love it for the same reason I love the Colbert Report.

Earlier simpsons (s2-s7'sh?, in my opinion, is the greatest though.. the humour and actions are so great I can't express it in what I'm trying to type.

and then the simpsons after that: s8 - s12~? were pretty hilarious too

It does make no fucking sense. That's partially why I like it so much.

mux explained it excellently to me when I first watched the show:
"This show comes in waves. The first wave is 'Huh?', the second wave is 'what the....?' and the third wave is '.... WHY???!?!?!?'"

Yes it makes no sense. That doesn't keep it from being absolutely ridiculously funny.

The reason is because Adult Swim doesn't really have a set schedule except for new episodes. So in a three-hour period you might get, say, one episode of Venture Bros, an episode of Aqua Teen, two sealabs, a Samurai Shamploo, a Birdman.... and then the next day it'll be like a Trigun, a sealab, an Aqua Teen, Two Braks and a Boondocks, and so on. Because a lot of the shows are only 10 minutes long they can mix and match however they deem fit.

Are you kidding? those were the years that Matt Groening left the show to work on Futurama, and the humour quality went vastly downhill through that period.

Then Groening returned to Simpson's and it was restored to its original glory. And frankly, as much as everyone says "The older stuff was better" I still crack up to new eps.

Still fresh after 18 seasons. I still say it's one of the best shows on television.
