Srsly, it's been a while since I've watched it, and borrowing the DVDs from a friend has just rekindled my love. I wish there was more than one season. Makes me sad. :(

Plus, Summer Glau is HOT.

Jewel Staite (Kaylee) lives in Vancouver (west end actually) - I've met her a couple times as she's a friend of a friend - each time I think I scare the shit out of her with my Firefly fanboyism.

I wish there was actually more than 1/2 a season :-\.

Hopefully there will be another movie...

There won't be. I went and saw a showing of Serenity that the Vancouver Brown Coats put on last year and in a video interview, Joss said that it's a done franchise. =/

I just finished watching this through for the first time. I now have the song stuck in my head.

My review: It's really cool but needs room to develop, which it seems it won't get. Could very well replace Farscape for my fav sci-fi series of all-time but that one actually got to finish its story...

Most interesting is how the characters so closely resemble Farscape's characters. I guess that's what happens when you have a show centered around a ship with escaped prisoners on it...

Really want to know who Book really is.

There's a fine line that sci-fi shows have where on one hand I enjoy the show. But then on the other hand, the rabid fan base annoys me into hating the series.

Firefly plays hop scotch with that line all the fucking time.
