I don't care why they kept referring to Jack's father like he's alive....explain to me the FOOT.

there's interesting theories on the foot as well..

rather than go into deep discussion, which i love (but am at work), check the lostpedia and search statue, then click on theories.

interesting read to say the least. although i don't agree with some of the statements on there, is one of the better theories ive read.

the part about john getting off the island to send his 'father' to the island to die, ben being the creator of the time machine, and the part of the 'portugeuse woman's helicopter'

ben being the creator of the time machine is my biggest issue.
