shite movie, incredibly boring. Maybe if I had seen parts 1 and 2 first it might have been better, but I couldn't get into it. I totally didn't care about any of the characters at all.

Crash is better, and uses a similiar premise. (misjudgements and how random people effect others lives)

A finely crafted film. Excellent cinematography. Tight editing. Good performances.

But, the most pointless script on the face of the planet.

The only thing this film is good for is 1st year film students to over-analyze.

Babel was a shitty movie, im glad I didnt waste my money to see it. The Illusionist wasnt much better, it was on the same level as the prestige (which might as well have been the same movie since it was set in the same era and had nearly the same story). There just havent been good movies out lately..

i watched stranger than fiction last night... good stuff, i liked it a lot. it was a lot like adaptation, which i loved.

I rented this last night and haven't watched it yet... now I'm not so sure if I wanna bother since it sounds like I might fall asleep in it. I tend to fall asleep in movies easily :(

I enjoyed the movie,
I dunno why everyone hates it so much. The scenes were cut nice, intense and emotional. The characters had distant connections but the commonline was their failure of communication. They all struggled with effectively communicating themselves and in turn their lives were ruined.

Such as the Tower of Babel which was described as a edifice to the heavens but was destroyed by God, destroying a united human language. So you can draw those parallels and see some sort of lesson in virtue and personal ascension.

So in that context i enjoyed it.
