i was dessapointed kind of, it wasnt all that scary to me, alot worse out there, but i have to say the part comming out of the tv was brilliant.
it was a good cheap tuesday night tho i dont regret going to see it, just wasnt up to my expectations.

i went to see this movie because i wanted to be scared
and because i loved the original japanese film "Ringu" but i should have remembered the golden rule of foreign film: remakes SUCK! i guess that a film from the director of "The Mexican" really really really should not have raised my expectations. but it was cheap tuesday and i wanted to be scared. i even dragged friends along to be my buffer against the scary girl in the well. i thought that it was just me. that seeing the original was preparing me for whatever was making most of the theatre jump, but my friends weren't scared either. actually everyone was pretty disappointed. i think that i'll just stick to being a film snob, where horror movies are seen for comedic relief and hollywood is almost avoided completely.

okay ive heard way more good reviews than bad ones.. im gonna go see this i dont care...MUST. i'll go see this before i see 8mile. neone wanna be my macho man and go see this with me? if not im gonna ask my lesbo coree to protect me.

I thought it was creepy because I believe in spirits and the supernatural.
If youdon't then I guess it isn't as good.

I thought it was good!
It made me jump quite a few times, and I'm not an easy scare! I didn't think it was "scary" per se, but it was creepy and that's all that matters. I don't think the idea was to make people scream and cry, or else they would have used different techniques and it would have been more graphic than it was. All in all...this was probably the best "scary" movie to come out for a good long time...GO SEE IT!

Well I thought it was fucked up. Who thinks of this shit? But I thought that the freakiest part was the fact that in the beginning that girls friend watched the chick come out of the TV and kill her. Well, that's what I gathered cause she goes crazy. Now I don't care, even if you thought the movie wasn't scary, if you watched that happen to a friend you'd be fucked up good after.

t'was a good movie... i downloaded it and watched it at 3 in the morning.. there are one or 2 disturbing parts
"i saw her face"...... *shudders* uuuuuuhhhuuuhuuuuhuhugg....dhfdjfEGFI;WE UHDF that freaked me out just a little

that was classic as for the tape, that was just plain ol freaky! I read the reviews for the Japanese version 'Ringu', and they sounded very creepy, creepier than The Ring. They also made another 'Ringu 2' Does anyone know where I can find a copy?
