i missed the opening credits. came in at the point where she got in the trolly accident. apparently she has two big disasters in her life, the trolly accident, and deigo rivera(the love of her life). both are the downfall of her.
i'm in love with the idea of a person who's life is so full of pain yet she finds the beauty and imagination to paint a portrait as full as her own. frida kahlo's art was very apparent in the film, no doubt it played second step to her own life and love affairs. her love affairs were always second to her love for diego. always escaping one after the other.
i won't say much more. the film wasn't a greatly made film, mainly focusing on agrandizing frida's life, and not focussing on much more than that. if you don't know much about frida kahlo or communism during the late 20s and early 30s you will, if you do know about her lets hope you enjoy looking at salma's tits, i mean storyline.
