Band Of Brothers (HBO/DVD)

We'll I'm on disc 6 of the series and it's been a wicked ride so far. I caught bits and pieces of it when it was on tv but decided I'd rent the dvd series at rogers. As for the story, it's 1944 and it's just before D-Day. The yanks are flown into England and then are shown training and waiting for the big drop into Normandy. The movie focuses around the Airborne squad "Easy Company", a highly trained group of soldiers, that must paratroop into ally territory. Their objective is to advance into germany while under heavy attack.

Great series, good effects and a solid cast. Well worth the rent.

Haven't had a chance to watch any of the shows but now that I know Rogers rents it I will for sure go pick it up.
