i reaaaly liked AVP even though as a 'movies' movie it sucked and sucked HARD.

I was barely able to watch the first one when it was on the movie channel.

I think they only reason this one will be better because of the more gruesome deaths, plus the fact that in the trailers about 30 people die.

Love this shit! Last good movie the Aliens were in was 'Aliens'. AvP kinda sucked, but from a fan POV was still a great movie (at least to finally see Aliens and Preds on the big screen at the same time!). So fucking stoked for AvP-R!

Sorry but AVP sucked. I spent most of the movie hoping all the characters would be killed by the end of it.

I do want to see this, though, as I understand they realized how badly they alienated (pun unintended) their core audience with the first one, so they're making this a bit truer to the comics. And hey, predators are just plain badass.
