A sad day in xbox history

I accidently knocked over my xbox 360 and now the hard drive won't work. I tried reformatting it and it won't work. Put in a friend's hard drive and it was fine. I put my hard drive in another xbox 360 and it wouldn't read, so I'm pretty sure it's a hard drive issue.

This is a saddening because I had a lot of game saves on that hard drive. Halo 3, Rainbow Six, BioShock, RockBand, Guitar Hero, etc. Now I have to do them all over again... ughhh... so frustrating. I should have never stood my xbox up. :(

I'm going to get memory cards for my games from now on. Portable, a bit more stable, and willing to withstand my abuse.

^ Nevada Dam in R6V did piss me off a lot, and sometimes I rock out really hard in Rock Band I get out of control. This time it was an honest accident trying to plug my xbox in.

R6V is easy as long as you remember the key to the game is to send out "Asian Guy whose good with computers" and "Black guy with British accent who has a big gun and blows up shit" to their deaths constantly.

Anytime I get stuck I send dumb and dumber on a suicide run straight into enemy fire and snipe the enemies as they are shooting my team a hundred times with a shotgun.

The part I keep getting stuck at was when Jung was on the computer and British accent guy was shooting the shit. and they come and ambush you... oh well. I'll just have to redo the game all over again, but this time I'll play on realistic.

Got R6V2, beaten and almost got all the aces ranks.

The key to that part is to send ""Black guy with British accent who has a big gun and blows up shit" up to the first set of boxes to the left (when you look from where you came) he can hold of the guys while you wait for the door behind you to open up and reveal 5 guys there to kill you. Once you take them out, it's no prob, just set your assault rifle to single shot and head shot the approaching guys. Followed by a victory pose.

My Xbox account is hooped right now and I can't connect. I'll fix it when I move. We'll get some R6V2 going on. My character is badass and wears a tank top, sunglasses and a backwards hat because that's what badasses do.

you cant fix the HD, it's probably reading a bad sector on the drive, way to go clumsy :P

but the real waste of money is purchasing memory cards. What're they like 8mb? no downloading, demos, additional game content.

yeha thats bascially how i beat nevada damn too, took me a few tries to refine the technique.

Luckily the Xbox is working. It could be much worse, at least you can repair the problem yourself and not have to send out to repair technicians. I would look into your warranty (if it's still available) and then treat yourself to a mango milkshake at parker place.

I'm going to keep my hard drive around just in case. Today, will be a great day as I will get a new hard drive and R6V2. I have a lot of games I have to catch up on since my saved files are fucked if anyone wants to game with me.
