A friend sent this to me. It's a video clip of SF4 somewhere in asia. Apparently they're only releasing it on Arcade cabinets world wide for the time being. Which I think is a fantastic idea for children and teens out there.

The animations in the moves look much tighter and more fluent. The gameplay all looks the same, which is very important IMO, but the biggest change that I see is their involvement with a 3D world. Nice Job, Capcom!

VF4 for 3d fighters
SF for 2d fighters

I used to be into the SNK games too like Samurai Showdown and King Of Fighters

I clocked way too many hours of SF2: The World Warrior when wildcard mike left an arcade console with that in my living room for a few months back when I lived in the burbs.

i liked WWF Royal Rumble on the SNES! I always got my ass kicked in SF2 on those days I used to bike over to Microplay to battle the local kids.

easy enough to jump close, fish a missed flash kick, and combo the shit out of it.

No way. Shoryuken is the only move that trumps flash kick in the World Warrior.

SF4 is being developed for the 360 right now so the arcade cabinet only experience will be for a short time.
