What's Better.... Ps2? Gamecube? Or X-box??

Every system has it's advantage and disadvantage... I remember reading an article detailing the differences between the systems.
I do remember it saying though that Game Cube cannot be put in the same class as X-Box and PS2... Game Cube is more targeted at a younger audience... just look at a bulk of the games that are out for it. X-Box and PS2 is clearly an all ages kind gaming machine! PS2 is nice cause not only does it have some sicko games, but it has multiple functionality outta the box IE: DVD player, etc... I personally have an X-Box... the graphics are SICK! Again I think each system has its pro's and cons... IE: Final Fantasy is awesome on PS2... but then Splinter Cell is wicked on X-Box!

Calm down sparky, I personally like it... WHEN PEOPLE DON'T WRITE IN ALL CAPS!!! Anyways, I've always been partial to the PS and Dreamcast because they had some anal violatingly good RPGs... The ps2 line up is more fit accordingly to the style of games that I enjoy, so it's not a suprise that I'd choose that one over the others.
I suppose the X-box would be pretty good if it wasn't so goddamn ugly/bulky.... I mean, you could beat someone to death with the controller if you wanted to... so it's not for the sore loser gamers out there ;]

the xbox will always be held back cuz of it's controller. but it is the better system if you're looking at capabilities. i love the grpahics of th exbox but i'll never get one until they come out with a better controller. actually that's how i feel about every other system because the PS2 controller si the best design ever invented for a controller IMO. Gamecube controller is pretty good, but the xbox one is just straight up retarded, same for the dreamcast

It's a toss up really. All the gamecube games to me look childish whereas the xbox, ps2 have games that cater to the older vid-junkie generation. I still haven't played much of the gamecube but i fell in love with xbox after playing it at Kraigs.
Now I want one for christmas but Santa has already come and gone. :(

from an owners perspective...
gamecube is the shit if you have friends over... games like soccer slam, super smash brothers and monkey balls are the ultimate games for 4 people in a room. no other system can touch it for pure group fun. it's also getting some pretty hot games coming up. xbox had a slow start, but im starting to play mine a bit more recently, it's also the one you should get if you want to play games online, xbox live is the de-facto console online implimentation. also games like steel battalion are just so wacked out its sick. ps2 is a faithful that will never let you down, everyone develops for it, and it by far has the best/biggest library and the best rpgs. it also has the best controllers and fuck, everyone has one. so first you need to ask yourself what you want to use your system for, then you can find a system thats good for you. in my opinion all 3 are a fuck of a lot of fun.

Xbox is a better system but Ps2 has way better games.
What's the point of getting an Xbox when there are only like 3 good games for it. I'd get an Xbox for jet grind radio future, shen mue 2 and that bruce lee game... besides that, ps2 all the way.

Personally I like the PS2, cuz IMo it has the best games, but X-box and Gamcube have been getting some sweet shit lately (whereas a year ago Gamecube used to only have games for young people and X-box only had games u could get on other systems...)!

In terms of controllers
Ps2 is the best, its more or less an exact copy of the dual shock controller for ps That's why i'd get the ps2, On the other hand.. Xbox has amazing graphics.. Played Halo for the first time yesturday, blew my mind. The controller for xbox would take some getting used to. I dont think i can get used to the gamecube controller, what the hell is the "Z" button doing on top of the R1 button? PS2 Is the way to go... imo

i am an owner of all 3 of those systems...
and i think each of them are fun.. the gamecubes controllers i believe are the best... the xboxs smaller controllers are ok.. a lot better than those huge as ones.. and the ps2 controllers are.. well they are ps2 controllers.. if you look at the game lineup.. a lot of the games are gonna be on all 3 systems.. but gamecube does have phantasy star online! and xbox does have splinter cell.. and ps2 has final fantasy.. so.... id say buy all 3

i have ps2 and xbox.
even the small xbox controllers kinda suck, and the ps2's are classic pimpiness. from what i hear the ps2's online capabilities suck while the xbox is actually pretty fat, but i will probably get the ps2 modem as well. the xbox also has an 8 gig hard drive and an operating system built into it, and the os is writeable (ie : when i installed xbox live, it configured the os and added a new selection to the main menu.) however, the memory cards are 30 bux american and without one you cant take your saved games anywhere with you unless you take your xbox (and the dvd contoller and the game controller are the same price). i like alot of the only on xbox titles as well as the only on ps2 titles, but i really do like the ps2's controller better. i could never play tony hawk or gta on an xbox...
