What a film!!!!! Go see this @ Tinseltown only until Thursday (2 week stint is over then).... A great documentary following a few crews and the Battle Of The Year. Go see it, you won't be dissapointed.

definitely worth checking out! i wished canada and bgirls had more representation the doc... oh well. at least they mentioned my fave bgirl, bgirl anne.

^yeah the old canadian guy who was teaching natives in the north may have been a feel good story, but it wasn't really a great representation of breaking in canada.

i think NON from Van is already stupidly impressive. They blow my mind every time i watch them battle.. they will be going to boty canada in aug and i have a feeling they'll be doing really well. bboy trickey.. holy shit that boy can fly. I think the most well known bboy from Canada is prob lazylegs and of course he's know for overcoming his disability and still breaking, and he does it damn well. I think Canada will surprise the bboy/bgirl world soon.

I mean money, sponsorship, and promotion wise.
Ya i think NON is Canasa's best, therfor they should have some support from our government like the Europeans and Japanese do. When your as good as they are you shouldn't have to rely on street shows to pay your way.

gotcha.. i wonder if they've looked at gov't funds for artists. a few from that crew just dances for a living, no clue how they do it, but it supports them. so everyone.. if you ever see NON (now or never crew) dancing in front of the VAG, drop them some money so one day we can see them in the future planet bboy documentary. :)
