PROB PICKING UP A PS3 THIS WEEKEND

THE REASON IS I NEED ONE WITH PS2 COMPATIBILITY (HAVE A BACKLOG OF PS2 GAMES AND A DEAD PS2) -- THEY ARE PHASING THOSE PS2 EMULATING MODELS AND ID HATE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER PS2 + MAKE SPACE FOR IT WHEN I EVENTUALLY GET ONE A FEW YEARS DOWN THE ROAD

ALSO! COULD USE A BLURAY PLAYER

ANYWAYS -- OTHER THAN MGS4 WHAT ARE SOME GOOD EXCLUSIVES FOR THE PS3

Ratchet & Clank is fun. If you've played the previous games, it's pretty much the same only prettier. Uncharted is unoriginal and derivative, but it's also put together really well and entertaining enough that I finished it in a couple weeks of casual play. I've heard good things about Warhawk, but I'm not really an online gamer anymore. I heard Resistance is good, but you're probably up to your eyeballs in FPSs with the 360. I've also heard good things about Folklore, but all reports have been it's pretty Japanese so that's either a plus or minus depending on what you like.

Other than those, sony doesn't really have many exclusives worth playing unless you like Gran Turismo. There are a couple of the PSN games that are fun but most are in the casual vein.

Blood Siren just dropped on PSN, only played the demo, but it seems like standard survival horror fair - been getting decent reviews tho...

ANY MULTI-PLATFORM GAMES ILL PROBABLY GET FOR 360 AS LIVE IS A GREAT EXPERIENCE, AND I ENJOY THE CONTROLLER MORE.

Just a warning, the PSN store is extremely slow.
and buy the warranty, my br drive went bad.
the hardware heats up pretty quick too.

Back on topic: I have all three systems and find I still play my 360 the most of them all. I haven't really touched the wii and mainly use the PS3 for blu-ray movies. My bf's cat loves the PS3 menu though for some reason. I got Soul Caliber for the 360, but I think it'd probably be better on the PS3.

I'd have to agree with the PS3 being pretty useless to me. If it didn't play blu-ray, I wouldn't ever use it really. I would rather play games on the 360 to add to my gamer score.

I HAVE HAD THE PS3 FOR 2 WEEKS, IVE PLAYED A LOT OF SINGSTAR ON IT AND I GRABBED MGS3 (ALMOST FINISHED) SO THAT I COULD GET INTO MGS4 (SYSTEM PACK IN) l

IT GOT THE NHL09 DEMO EARLY AND I GRABBED SOME BLU RAYS. 360 WILL PROBABLY BE MY MAIN SYSTEM FOR THE NEAR FUTURE SINCE XBOX LIVE IS SUCH A NICE ONLINE SYSTEM, BUT ANY GOOD EXCLUSIVES.
