Like the title says kids.... out with the new avies! Definitely nothing special but a fun little addition with the NXE.

Also, I've heard rumblings that a lot of the new premium themes also come with new clothing or accessories for your avatar as well.

if you highlight the hairstyles tile in the avatar editor but dont click on it, wait about 1 minute and the tile will spin, then select it and you get extra hair colors like blue, pink, red, etc.

have you tried using a different video input? if i remember right, i think there's a switch on the cable that will let you choose composite or component?

The video output is a problem that's been coming up lately with xbox. It happened to me and I did some research on it.

Shit thing is that my box was literally 2 days out of warranty. I ended up going and buying a new elite.

This is my #1 problem with so many consumer electronics of late, XBox especially.

Used to be a warranty meant "If your product doesn't break within this period of time then it's not defective and should last forever (or some reasonable facsimile)"

Nowadays it means "This is how long we expect your product to last so we'll only support it for this period of time"

I know everybody loves the XBox's exclusives but really, continually re-purchasing the console is just encouraging this type of behaviour.

True, but yet we don't see these kinds of problems with the PS3 or the Wii. At least not to the scale that we do with the XBoxes.
