I recently traded FC2 for Fallout.

I got out of the vault.. Where the shit do i go? This game is way too massive.

I went to the school and shortly after the lack of objectives on the screen. i said FUCK IT and went to l4d

the pipboy gives me stats, ammo, weaps.. but i cant find the map.

i think LT and RT move between 'tabs' on the pipboy... the local and world maps are on the data tab.

it's basically oblivion with guns with a better story and setting.

All the annoyances of oblivion are still there tho and it's buggy as all hell (PS3 version is even worse)

fallout 3 is amazing and i have sunk 20+ hours into it already in the 2 weeks ive had it, which is unheard of for me (i get bored of games really easily, havent sunk this much time into a non-multiplayer game since HL2)

i've gotten stuck 3 times now on xbox360 on random environment pieces

also! i thought oblivion sucked and wasn't engaging at all, though it was a pretty cute sandbox to play around in

fallout 3 takes the engine and gameplay elements then adds a lot better quests, morality choices, story, weapons, humor etc

Oblivion was kind of like Fable in the sense that if you went evil, all it meant is that you killed more shit and the plot progressed faster.
