Yeah I really don't care if it's a social commentary....as long as it isn't super barf-inducing and heavy-handed like Crash or Gran Torino....which I don't think it will be. It seems to me like it's more about Xenophobia than racism. Either way I like the gritty, realistic feel of it, the spaceships look pretty awesome, and it's produced by Peter Jackson so I'm feeling pretty good about it.

excellent movie. no bleeding heart commentary or sappy shit. the atmosphere is incredible.

Yeah it was pretty fuckin awesome....There are a few things I've heard people complain about but I don't think they're really big issues. It actually had a good story and a bunch of interesting turns of events. The visual effects were amazing too.

This is easily one of the sharpest pieces of science fiction I have seen in a long ass time. 10/10
