I saw this trailer a couple of weeks ago.

I love the concept of the film and I'd love to see it, soon!

And, yeah, the faux doc/cap approach seems like it works well, a la Blair Witch.
Yeah, I liked that flick, too.

Movies - Paranormal Activity

I went to see this on Friday without any knowledge of what it was about, other that it would be 'scary'. While waiting in line, the previous showing let out and people were visibly shaken.. this one girl was full on crying.

So yeah, basically watched half the movie through the fur lining on the hood of my jacket. Many "oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck" moments.

Spooky movies can't scare me, because I grew up in a house that was haunted.

I like watching the flicks, though, to see if any of them get it "right".

The _BEST_ (most realistic) ghost images ever created for the cinema is the Pang Bros. "The Eye". Chinese w/ Eng. subtitles. Jessica Alba starred in yet another sad N. American re-make of a good movie by the same name.

From the trailer, though, I'd like to see what they did w/ this one.

Awesome, I saw the trailer yesterday night, going to go see this Saturday!

I went in expecting a really good scare and left the theater disappointed, I thought the acting was pretty sour, and the story just dragged on and on......

IMO - movie gets one star for making something out of the mainstream.
