^ yep thats the first movie. fuckin messed up. its one of my favorites. this one, hypercube, is the same sort of storyline, except the cube is more complex. its like 4dimensional or something crazy like that.

just finished watching it......warning to those who havent seen it, dont read the rest of this post unless u want to know how it unfolds




i did not like the ending at all, a lil to far-fetched......altho it does leave it open for a 3rd one. and i felt no connection with any of the characters, where as in the first i was upset that so and so died, or watever. i was suprised to see a lack of "weapon rooms" as there were enough of them in the first, again the main one with the "mini hypercube" that expands was a lil iffy. one thing that bothered me alot was the fact that they didnt really get into explaining the 4th dimension? altho i thought the 4th dimension was the shadow a 3d cube casts, anywho my overall opinion was that they had alot of great ideas, but couldnt come up with logical explanations to back them up, and therefore just tried to incorporate everything into the movie without it fitting into the puzzle. i do reccomend it to anyone who has seen the first one, i still prefer the first one by far, but it could just be me

ps anyone have a clue what the pendant on the asian girls neck was? or why they took it @ the end?

the first cube is one of my favorite movies... i love movies that make you think like that! absolutely brilliant plot.. MUST watch cube 2. hmmm i can't imagine what it could be about. looks like a spring break movie! and i still have to watch the ring too.
