Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

Saw this movie last nite and I gotta say it was very entertaining. Johnny Depp plays the character of Captain Jack Sparrow very well. There isn't so much special fx that makes the movie so fake. Director Gore Verbinski does a great job in creating a great environment with real ships and large docks. Keira Knightley is hot! Watch out for her! This movie will make her big in the USA.

If you like pirate movies go and check it out. If you like Depp or Bloom, like most ladies seem to, go and check it out. All the gals in the theatre were giggling a lot when both of them came onscreen. :soak:

I went and saw it on my B-Day. I was too drunk by the end to know what was going on. Well, except for the fact that Johnny Depp is f'n hot.

But from what I remember it was good.

:309: I personally loved this movie. I thought it was a horror flick (from the skelatons in the previews) but the pirates made quite a few jokes... bathroom humor type things... and at the very begining... well i wont give it away to those who haven't seen it.. but it was funny --->(for those who have the whole girl falling off the rock thing :hehe: )
it was a cross between action, romance(get the girl), comedy, and of course the skelatons were a little disturbing in a horror flick kinda way. I would give it two thumbs up. :y: :y:
OH and johny depp was jack sparrow? no wonder i found myself strangely attracted to a weathered pirate with dreds... throughout the whole movie i was just like MMM dammmmn!

Are you serious?! OMG I love that ride! Hahaha last time I was in disneyland it broke down while we were on it and I got to hear that song for like half an hour. Pirates are so fucking awesome!

things such as where the treasure was, some of the boat scenes........prob some more aswell

movie was entertaining.....but it dind't have to be that long, there were alot of useless things that drag the movie on for too long, like the fight between jack sparrow and captain barbosa or something.....they were both cursed...both coulding die.....and they seriously fought for like 20 mins...but all in all movie was quite entertaining

Johnny Depp was halarious, there's just something entertaining about watching a drunken pirate with black eyeshadow.

I saw it last night too!! So funny, I'm gonig again this weekend I think!!

But I might just be me, and because one of my mum's co-workers mentioned it, and I know the way this person acts to some degree, but did anyone else see Johnny Depp's character seem like Keith Richards at all? The way he moved his hands, and even they way he talked, it was so funny. (my parents, i went with them, could totally see it, as i could only kind of see it)

johnny depp did such an awesome job!!..and who was the chick..i thought she was hot...but not as hot as orlando bloom was in this movie..=P

yup..some of the sets were definitely from the ride..some of the scenes were too..weeee..i love the ride!!...i really liked the movie..=)
