This website has some REALLY interesting info about the movie, basicaly exposing it as a mocked up "fictionary" documentary.

It explains how Micheal Moore (the directer) cut up several of Charlton Heston's speaches to twist his words and make him look like a raving racist psycho

I don't think it's a huge surprise that things like this have sprouted up in order to discredit Michael Moore. I don't agree with all the conclusions that are drawn on that website - and I was also not surprised to learn that many of the sequences were edited in a certain way to illict certain responses from us the viewer

Much of what Moore says is opinion, much is fact - it's a hard truth to accept. The love affair with guns down in the states is different from much of Canada , but this recent gun registry deadline has shown the country that we too have millions that love their gun and don't think they should have to register it with the governement
In gun crime here in Canada 80% of the guns recovered have been smuggled into this country from the U.S (most guns used in crime are not the rifles our prarie farmers are trying so hard not to register)
that' s a staggering amount - The U.S gun issue is definatley becoming more and more a Canadian issue also - and I for one refuse to dismiss Bowling for Columbine as a total non-factual fairytale
It's a great eye openeer and I hope those who see it , or have seen it - looked into the issue further because of it and hopefuly through that process came to thier own informed conclusions.

after all micheal moore WAS blacklisted... of course everybody is bashing him now
