first off i love movies about vampires and shit.


this movie wuz alrite. this wuz the movie i saw after cabin fever so i would think any movie would b good after seein that sack of shit.

i like shootem up movies and this one wuz a good. like 3 min into the movie a 10 minute gun battle. fuckin rites

its not a movie where u would bring a chick to tho. more of a go get baked and watch it wit ur bros.

it's was a great movie!! ...and it totally is a movie to get baked and go with your significant other....thats what i did! :)

I saw it tonite and it was WAY better than I expected it would be... it was awesome. Good story, a few pretty cool plot twists, hot women, guns, blood.... did I already say hot women?

I thought the movie was rather lame. It was just one big giant music video or something. I also didn't like how they ripped off that scene from "Nemesis" (When the chick shoots the hole in the floor). The Lycans rule though.

Dark green hue, square spiral staircase with black and white checkered floor, spinning shot as people run up stairs to door and point guns and flashlights to the door just before they blast it/kick it in....

NEVER seen that before.

I had a whole rant about how this was probably the most unoriginal and uninspired movie I think I've seen in a LONG time. It was better than "Manos" The Hands of Fate, but not by much.

I think the only reason to see this movie is the punchline when the head gets sliced off and falls over. Vampire brains are silver and bloodless. Who knew?

It's funny because at that moment, EVERYBODY in my theatre broke out laughing. Then we laughed harder when we realized it wasn't supposed to be funny.

Scares me that they set up a sequel for this. No wonder about two decent movies have come out in the last 4 years. Everybody keeps paying for pieces of crap and then keeps paying to see their sequels. Love how they forced it to be a bit open ended there so they'd have room for a sequel. I'm still lost as to who the hell the protagonist is.

sixpakstak - i watched Underworld a week after Cabin Fever too...and i thought Cabin Fever lick hairy balls man!!...except for the nudity scene..haha..if i were to rank them both.....

Matrix Rip off? No way. There was hardly any hand to hand and the fighting that they used was REAL. (well...kinda...) There were no super slow scenes it just all happened. I think it was a good effort to disuade people from their pre-ordained view of action flicks...they don't have to be all happy and magical...they are (or should be) real and violent...like underworld. The costumes were origional also...and there weren't any references to "the maker" or any weird cover up story involving old chinese men with lots and lots of keys...I rest my case

Hah. I still fail to see how a Matrix ripoff without the kung fu and special effects isn't a Matrix ripoff.

There's a lot more to the Matrix than special effects and Kung Fu. It's called "Tone" and "Setting". Not to mention the harsh overuse of Guns. Matrix did it well. Underworld fell into the trap that most screenwriters fall into: Just using them because they're there. What weaponry did they use otherwise?

Well, there was the little spike-discs that got used once at the beginning and swords from time to time.

Now, bringing up shit from the second Matrix movie, that's pretty stupid. Lemme see here.... How could a movie that just came out be ripping off the second Matrix movie, which has a story that's been under tight surveillance and nobody aside from who was working on the project had any clue what was going to happen in the next two matrix movies?

Of course it didn't rip off Matrix Reloaded. It takes a shitload longer than three months to make a movie, you know....
