First off, Mekhi Phifer is HOT!! After seeing the preview for this movie while watching American Pie 2, I KNEW I had to see it cause ANYBODY who knows me knows how I love my black boys.

Anyways, this movie is a contemporary version of Shakespeare's tragedy "Othello." It's about Odin, a popular basketball player, who is dating Desi, the daughter of the Dean of the school they are attending. They are a really tight couple and have a strong and pure love for each other. Odin's best friend, Hugo, is jealous of him and makes him believe that Desi is cheating on him with her best friend Mike.

I won't spoil the movie by revealing what happens, but watch it!! It's good...just a lil...well, tragic. I walked out of the movie with a blah feeling cause of the way the movie concluded but I still liked it.

i saw this just the other day and i can honestly saw it was really good...

i went in there not thinkgin that it would be but i was totally wrong... go see it..i loved it... shakespear is always good...

Honestly, I thought this film was a terrible waste of money...guess because I've never read Othello and have alwayz been a critic of Shakespearean tragedies.....

i thought it was decent...not great but it was pretty good....haha...i think i laffed at some innapropriate parts..haha...i kept getting elbowed by the mrs...

but i liked how it turned out...alot of the time im really disappointed with endings...i wasn't "oh wow thats soooo cool" or anything..but it was decent and i was able to let go of it while exiting the theatre...sometimes endings jus piss me off and i cna't stop thinkin about how dumb it was...not this time...it was fitting i guess....
