should i get a mod chip for my ps2?

with the resurgence of my gaming desires...i'm wondering if i should get one - and once again look to the online ubern3rd fnk community for help.

With the new ps3 that's comming up rumor has it that it will be able to play pirated games without the mod chip.

45.00 will get you a really good chip

I'd ask someone around here to install the new chip. and then you'll have to get yourself a dvd burner.

But, Im not sure if the online adapter will work with the PS2.

just get it done by someone that does this for a living. it's wroth it that way.. plus they throw in like 5 free games. you could get it done and get the 45$ chip... but u'll have to buy a gameshark as well... the new chips require no gameshark and no disk swapping(trust me, it gets to be a pain in the ass)

the drawback is that it's around $130+ last time i checked

you should ask the chinese man on this. me haha. $100 for straightload chip but only some of the ps2's will work. On the back of your ps2 theres a model #. tell me ur digits. u might not even be able to get the straight load chip if ur ps2 is hella old.

The model of your ps2 is compatible with the new chip. $100 at ParkerPlace2 in richmond. Im sure you should know where it is. If not PM me. ENjoy your cheap gaming. Oh dont buy your games there only chip. Il suggest another palce for you to buy your games
