Just picked up this flick at Blockbuster and it is great!

If you ever wanted to see the trials and tribulations of putting together an underground rave watch this movie.

The soundtrack is awesome! I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. John Digweed appears at the end and drops two awesome tracks.

My g/f thinks I act like the chem T.A. :041:

The best line in this movie? THIS! -> A guy walks up to the chem T.A. and asks "I'd like to buy a vowel..."

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! :041: I busted a gut hearing that line! If you can't figure it out, think about it.

i watched it before..and i remember that line..it was funny..i remember that dj boy who sucked then got good by the end..i thought he was hilarious~..but yeah..the movie was alrite~:Lazee:

I watched Groove after doing some e the night before and then going to the VanEast theatre and watching some mad action.

I thought Groove's storyline and tone was very believable. I can honestly say I've been in at least five of the situations the characters were in. I really liked the key lines like at the end of the party and the promotor say's I do it all for the one person who comes up to him at the end of the night and says it was the best experience of the night, and then *nods*. And that poor fool's stupid ass girlfriend who ruins his records by throwing them in the back seat. OI! Anyways, it's the best rave film I've seen.

I saw it right before I went to a party, which was interesting, but some of it was too cheesey/predictable for words... Like the gay couple making their own party at the beach at the end. Pfft. I really liked the dancing to the washing machine bit, and the one point where everyone in the room is going off to an amazing track and the excitement is so high... It's the point of "raving". Heh.

I watched this earlier on in the summer, day before heading over to the island for a party! It totally shows what it's like to throw an underground party, the emotions of people attending/throwing the party, all the stresses/sacrifices and glory when it's all done. I made my parents watch it, believe it or not...they're reaction was, "Wow, we didn't know there was so much work put into a party!" And my mom thinks Digweed is a cutie!!! *snickers* But it's a great movie!

There hasn't been many movies made related to "raves"...I've only seen maybe 3 movies? GO..GROOVE..Hmmm...and this other low budget movie!! By far GROOVE is the best...If your a newbie or want to take a friend to a party...You should deff. make them sit through and watch this movie...It'll deff. give them an idea of what's it like you know? I'm sure the movie will give them a better sense of what's it like...The plus and minus side of partying :Kimmie:

Groove ... it took me forever to finally see it ... i wanted to see it soooo badly and when anyone ever talk about it i would run away because i didn't want them to spoil it. Finally i saw it over the summer ... wicked movie ... worthe the wait.
