e-LOVE (internet dating show)

I don't know if I'm the only one that catches this show, but honestly it's the best. I'm a big fan of not-so-cheesy reality t.v. (big fan of the lifenetwork here)

Here's how it goes. It's a documentation of internet lovers who are going to meet for the first time. Every episode showcases a different couple and what makes it so interesting is that it's not like every other dating show. No lame commentaries.. It's the real thing. Two people who meet online fall madly in love and decide to meet up. Some totally hit it off, some people are totally turned off by their partners who they feel deceived by (ie. HE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE HIS PICTURES) and some of them turn out to be total creeps...

Anyways, I thought it was pretty interesting considering how popular internet dating has become. you can catch it on the women's network (WTN-channel 19 on my tv) at 11:30 pm.. I don't quite know which specific days its on though.

yah i've heard of this show before. never watched it though. never knew when it was on. maybe i'll check it out. so how do the pick the people to film though. like do these people agree to do this together then send in there story of how they are in love with somone on the net???

check out this real life story though. an ex of mines aunt met this dude from like bagdad over the net and they have been talking for about a year now. but he is like 20 and she is like 39 or something. anyway she has two kids and an ex husband she just got married to this guy and it was the first time they ever met now she is just waiting for him to move to canada but she is thinking of moving back to his home land.

I'm not so sure how it works exactly, but I'm assuming that it's advertised on some website and I'm sure that the couple involved receive some kind of benefit for participating IE: the company pays for their flight to met each other etc.. i mean, if I were them I'd rather have some sort of incentive to be filmed.

Or, it might come to the benefit of the couple involved in the sense of security. Having film crews all around would mean that if one of them turned out to be a psycho, you'd be a lot safer.

Muahaha. I've seen this show a few times now and it's pretty interesting. So far all of the people have totally fallen for each other...I wanna see a damn episode where everything blows up into bloody hell. :P

^ohhh i've seen a couple BAD episodes. This one couple totally hit it off, but when the guy went back home he confesses to the chick that he's still with his ex-girlfriend and they still love each other...
