Max Payne 2 : The Fall of One Bad Muthaf**ker

Okay so this game is definately worth a play, especially if you enjoyed the first one. Bullet time is improved, the storyline is pretty pimp and Mona Sax is one bad bitch. I would like to bigup Rockstar for pushing the limits once again, but I would also like to say WTF? This game is enirely too short and can only be played on the cheesecake setting to begin with. Seriously, unless you are a total retard this game should be a cakewalk. However, when I do beat it in under 8 hours, I will probably see how much harder the game is without an overly abundant supply of painkillers (aka on the unlocked difficulty setting). Rant aside, the game is tight, it's noir and that means Mona's gonna die, but hey, Max'll probably get to pound her first.

Unless of course they want to make it really sad.

I liked this one. Haven't finished it due to lack of ownership, but I will say this:

All Max Payne games must be played whilst making Ninja noises.

cool game, way too fucking short and easy though.

i think that anyone with thumbs could have beat that shit.

it's more worth your while, thats what i did. I had max payne for ps2 but my friend accidentally erased my game after i finished the first third of it. so i filed it and didn't pick it back up ever again (for ps2). Around Xmas I sold it to a game trader with a couple of other titles and got Rainbow Six 3 and Max Payne for xbox. As soon as i finished Prince of Persia I went on a Max Payne binge, both titles consecutively, and it was well worth it. You get the whole story and there are little things that carry over from the first title into the second that you may not be so keen on if you don't finish the first one. Then again, you can always choose the "previously on max payne" option from the main menu... Blah.
