anyone have a windows 2000 cd key?

a REAL one? cause the ones you get off the net work when you install, but microsoft keeps track of all these public keys and if you're using one of them you cant use the microsoft update site to download service packs and stuff

so lemme know if you have a REAL cd key i can use!

Why not use XP? Or you can check on www.cracks.am for anything like that. Although if you use someone else's Serial, Micro$oft doesn't like that very much either.

i used a crack for the copy of win2k i run, and in three years of using it i've yet to run into any problems. as far as i know, ms doesn't track cracked releases of 2k. however, they cracked down (PNI) when they released xp. cdkeys won't work with xp as it has to verify the validity of it in a central server.

yeah i checked astalavista but i wasnt sure if the cracks would actually work.. i thought maybe i'd just get the same problems as with the stolen cd keys that EVERYONE has hehe... ill try it out tho, thanks!
