When I first saw the previews for this movie on tv I thought i was going to be another cheesy-computer-animation-kiddie-flick. I rarely spend $12 on a movie and didn't even consider renting the flick until a few people told me it would be worthwhile. So I rented it,popped it in the vcr, and was pleasantly surprised. I thought the voice casting was perfect and the animation was top notch. I can't wait until video games use this kind of format. This is definitely a movie you can watch with the bf/gf. As for just the guys...you might be better off with The one or Iron Monkey.

I rarely spend money on seeing a cartoon in the theatres. However, months back, my friends INSISTED I see this movie....so we went. Anyways, I was completely surprised too!! The jokes were jokes that little kids didn't get, and even the lines in the songs were completely sick & twisted! I fucking LOVE this movie!! The animation was awesome and the characters were wicked! My favourite is that damn donkey that just never wants to go away! Wicked Wicked movie!!!

Opposit of you two I wanted to see the film based on the trailers, I thought it looked hilarious. I didn't have to pay to see the film cuz at the time I worked at a movie theatre, so I brought my lil'sistah and we watched it. I thought it was sad, lived up to the fairly tale with political correct twists, and loved the happy ending. the end. But I think the film is too short, that's the flaw.

I really enjoyed this movie too... it was a nice storyline, and Eddie Murphy's goofy comedy kept the movie going... that *jack-ass* Hahahaha :041:

"Shut up donkey" <--- was my favorite line!!!

And I agree with Lex, this is definitely a good *cuddly* bf/gf movie :Kimmie:

This movie was so good , i didn't expect it to be as good as it turn out to be ... and it was so funny , i can't even remember how many time i was holding my stomach because i was laughing so hard. This movie is great i think everyone will enjoy Sherk.

It was quite a good movie I agree also...:) Teaches a good story line of where beauty is only skin deep and we should all look deeper than that...

You guys should check out the DVD!! The extra features are hilarious!! :D:

i watched this movie the other day for the first time thinking it was gonna be really good cause of all the comotion people were making about it. so i went in with high expectations i geuss, cause i didn't think it was very good..the plot was good and the animation was too....but for laughs...mmm...not so good as i thought it would be..oh well

although, this movie was very educational:
my favourite character was the dragon.........i like dragons.....and i learned that dragons like donkeys:288: awwwww

that was a wicked movie. i totally loved it. it was good for every age group, which really surprised me. it was very very well done.

and as for the gingerbread man... "where is the princess?!" "EAT ME!"

hehe that was the best part...
