So who is going to be at the theater opening night!? I personally can't wait for this movie! This is the same guy who did 'Signs" and "The Sixth Sense". I get mixed reactions when I ask people's opinions about those two, but in my opinion, they f-ckin kick ass.

did he do 6th sense too? i thought he only did unbreakable which was shit and signs. perhaps im wrong iono. but i do want to watch this movie but not on opening night cause i dont want to see it that badly to the point where id actually go first day

He's done The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Signs...this is his fourth movie.

i'll be there opening night seeing this movie. he's a very good director who doesn't tailor his movies to the fast past and quick editing that makes movies these days sometimes too hard to watch.

I thought the sixth sense was pretty good, but unbreakable and signs were terrible. The preview for this looks pretty good though - Kind of like Sleepy Hollow meets The Crucible meets Aliens. Great use of colour too.

he always has great use of colour.

sixth sense: the colour red being used to show something supernatural

unbreakable: comicbook bright colours used to show when something strange is going on. like the people he has visions about are all wearing bright colours compared to the bland people all around him.

signs: his use of shadow and darkness is good in this movie.

my predicictions about The Village is that we're going to see the same style of colour and shadow that we did in Signs.

Yeah, he did The Sixth Sense. There is supposed to be a really big ass twist at the end of this one too.

Remember the use of the TV during the end of the movie... the reflection of the alien! That was f-cking awesome. It's stuff like that that makes his movies original.

Yeah! I'll admit, that was alittle lame, but you could see that coming right when they talked about the baseball bat earlier in the movie.

I liked the reflection of the alien in the TV near the end of the movie.

No the worst part of the movie was how water killed the Aliens. Water, wtf? Good thing they came to earth. I'm so glad it wasn't raining anywhere when they landed.
