Ju-On
I'm a huge horror fan, and follow most good thrillers under the sun. I'm also a big fan of Japanese extreme movies, so needless to say I was really excited for Ju-On. Then I read all the reviews saying it's about as scary as an enema, with stupid plotlines, and no conclusion.
Well maybe I was in a good mindset, but the movie blew me away. Gave me great creeps, chilled me to the bone in a lot of scenes. The storyline is a little tricky to follow , because they condense a TV series into a single film, but it works none-theless. I think ultimately the scarriest things in movies are children, creepy children, and this one had the ultimate. If you want to be scared shitless however, I recommend getting the TV version , and not the movie.
