Although it's not brand new, I'm seriously fucking stoked on seeing this movie on the big screen!!!

The Tarantino'd version opens in theatres this friday, I'm soo there...

aren't they just using tarantino's name though? i mean....he's not a producer, director or anything...he's just sort of...a brand name.

That's why I mean Tarantino'd..he did the same thing with Iron Monkey too

I think what he does is just spiffs it up a bit before its north american release..

I hope it's subtitled!

I've had it on my computer, subtitles and everything, for about 6 months now. I've probably seen it 30+ times, and I still want to go see it in the theatre.

It is seriously one of the most amazing looking and cool movies I have ever seen... despite the fact that it's over 2 years old.

there is nothing like being able to see a martial arts movie on the big screen...I've got a big collection of VCDs I can watch on my tiny computer screen, so when I get the chance to really see it, I'm stoked!

my biggest guess is that they're just using his name to make the movie more marketable in the states and in canada.

cool. when i saw the commercial and i heard "tarantino presents" i was like wtf. i hope the movie isn't in english but it probably will. oh god its gonna be horrible

Eh I dunno, Iron Monkey was subtitled and Tarantino didn't manage to fuck up that classic when it was released in North America...

here's hoping!

i just read on www.movies.com that the movie "will be presented in a variety of languages"

it's not looking good. but i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

have any of you seen "The Shaolin Temple" staring Jet Li? has to be my fav. movie, Its filled with incredible wu shu stlye kung fu.....

p.s if any of you are intrested in taking traditional Shaolin Hung Gar Kung Fu, with Grand Master Sifu Stephen Chang, 60years of age, born into a real shaolin temple in hong kong (not any corney crap like "temple kung fu" in vancouver wich reminds me more of dealing with used car salesmen than real teachers of the art) , he has been teaching the anccent style for over 40years....here is just some of the stuff he teaches....

-12 animal styles
-18 traditional shaolin wepons
-drunken style
-buddah fist
-butterfly palm
-jade fist
-tai chi chuen
-pressure point's
-actupunctur (sp)
-chinese language
-eventialy even dim mak

actually i thoguht it was pretty horrible. maybe its jsut because im chinese though and any chinese movie in english is a nono for me

indeed. i was trippin. watched it long ago and i swore i thoguht it was in enlgish lol. but i took it out and watched it and yes subtitles it is.
