I just saw this movie. Now scary movies don't usually get me, but I nearly crapped my pants during this movie I was so scared. Anyone else see it yet?

yeah i saw it. it's alright...i mean, there are some scary bits...but really when you walk away from that movie and think about it, not a lot of it made sense.

The japanese versions didn't even make sense. I didn't see the 1st one, saw the 2nd and 3rd part. 3rd part was confusing as hell!!?! I think I saw them in the wrong order. It was confusing with the titles they have: Ju-on, Ju-on 2, Ju-on: The Grudge, Ju-on: The Grudge 2. They all pretty much have the same names, cause in Japanese ju-on is the grudge or curse...so?!?!

I want to check out "The Saw", that one seems interesting.

i want my two hours back.
i was literally laughing through most of it. i had two girl friends on either side screaming and jumping, meanwhile i yawned.
really truely nothing specail.
the opening scene gave it so much promise, but really it was too predictable, and regular scare tactics.

and when i was leaving the theatre some girls was ranting "i am never going near another cat ever fucking again guys. that shit is wack" (thats a word for word quote) and that made me laugh even more.

p.s. i coach a kid name toshio.... dun Dun DUN!

aw I'mso disappointed that you guys didn't like it. Scary movies don't usually affect me, but this one did. Yeah some of the stuff didn't really make sense to me....but hey, I still enjoyed my nightmares from it.

i've heard many different view on that movie and i'd have to say ...... not lookin scary. haven't really found a scary movie yet. The Ring was an ENORMOUS dissapointment and like the other guy said (i don't know how to quote just yet) but alot of the "horror" movies are very predictable. scary movies haven't really changed since "Army Of Darkness" which got a 4 out of 5 on my scale cause i was laughing so hard through it. recently saw "Feardotcom.com" that was alright, i was sittin with 2 friends and they were closing their eys through out the movie and i could help myself but laugh at them so if any who has a harsh rating scale finds a good scary movie let me know so i can scare the shit out of my friends. i like drug related movies and really f'd up ones like Requiem For A Dream, Donnie Darko (awsome awsome movie) and The Unsaid had an interesting twist to it at the end which i called 10 mins before the twist happend so if ya hear of anything good let me know

Now that it's actually Hallowe'en, I challenge ya'z to try to get a copy of this movie:
"The Eye" by the Pang Bros. (Chinese, English subtitles)

THEEEEEEE _best_ ghost movie, EVER!

I've grown up with that kind of stuff, and there's not one other film that creates an image of a ghost/spirit/haunting like these guys did!

The most realistic haunting/ghost images ever created for film!

Watch it!

The elevator and the caligraphy studio scenes will make you wet your pants!

Seems a Tom (Hanks or Cruise, one of them) studio bought the rights to make it in English for the N. American audience (ya just _KNOW_ they're gonna fuck it up!...)

The first was such a huge success, that, they've already released a sequal to it, in China. Not available here, yet, as far as I know.
