you know what, seriously? I'm gonna probably only use this for multiplayer and that's simply to replace the original Halo as a staple of my gaming diet. I was looking for the "HOLY CRAP" visuals and it just never really delivered... I guess after games like Prince of Persia 2, Doom 3 and Chronicles of Riddick I've been a little spoiled for graphic goodness...

Went to go Pre-order GTA-SA for the second shipment and there was a HUGE lineup out the door at Electronic Boutique. I have a PS2, so GTA-SA will have to do... HA HA, I win.

Halo 2 is an excellent game, but not the best FPS ever.

If you've played the first halo you should know what to expect. Solid controls, balanced weapons, etc etc...

Good:

New weapons and moves.
A couple of new vehicles.
Fairly good story
Solid game play
Great graphics

Bad:

-I wish that they had seperated the Covenent and Human campain.
-Halo 1 and Halo 2, have great AI, why waste it then on the boring flood...
-Sometimes it's easy to get lost in a level, hallways tend to blend in very well, and will result in you easily getting lost

you know what REALLY bugs me tho? the levels are clearly much larger, yet the radar is still the same short range. It's silly, c'mon, 2 player multiplayer is frequently frustrating since you can never find eachother until you know the levels inside and out

ya, i agree with the multiplayer levels being too large. I was waaay too fucking lost most of the time. Being able to dual-wield weapons this time is pretty fucking cool though. In regards to the end of the game, I've heard that if you're a solid Halo player you can probably finish it in about 10 hours which is way too short.
