this movie was disapointing.

the characters were fantastic. without the bizarre characters and crazy sets and such, the movie wouldn't have been very watchable. the acting was good, but the storyline wasn't enough to carry anything.

it starts off well, but then it just doesn't really go anywhere, and you don't really care about anything. i was just kept interested by the quirky characters.

3 of 5 stars.

ps. on the plus side, going to capital 6 meant that i could indulge in their awesome SPLAT jawbreaks that they sell in the lobby. man, i love those things.

nope! but my sister has read and collected all of them, so i'll probably borrow hers and read them some day.

Yeah, I was just wondering if the movie sucked because the books were bad to begin with, or if it just sucked.

it's a series of like 8 books or so, i think, so i would imagine the books are pretty good.

my sister seems to like them.

ive read the books and the first book is reli good and then the second book is okay but by like the 4th one ur like um....this is boring.....its like the same storyline and same stuff happens just diffreernt caretaker and etc.....

i saw it last night. I enjoyed it. I thought the Characters were creativly quirky, the acting was intelligent and the storyline, well, its a nickalodeon..what can you really expect.

i give this flick 3.5/5 stars.

the credits in the end were more entertaining then the movie at some points.
