Just started, CityTV - Channel 13

Called uh, Night Sessions

supposedly it's about the "Vancouver rave scene" and a fight between promoters.

hah, this is gunna be good. :|

"Not being from BC, I think I might have missed the point of this film. I think this film was supposed to be a social commentary on something, but it was lost on me as I didn't really like any of the characters, mostly owing to the fact they were two dimensional stereotypes who don't develop in any way, shape or form.

The plot of this story is simple. Two people (the stereotypical good-guy ravers) want to throw a party, but they don't have the space. To spread the word, they enlist the help of Shaggy (a stereotypical stoner) and one of their friend's girlfriend (a stereotypical lesbian). Along the way, they're hounded by a night club owner (who is stereotypically evil) to use his place for their party because he owes money to a gang guy, I guess, who is stereotypically eviller."

I found it really boring after watching it for 15mins. Then I caught the ending and some dude died in a fire and they were celebrating his death? That was messed up. Their party looked really shitty too.

I can't believe that anyone would actually "hound" a promoter to use their venue.

At least this one had a semblance of plot....

Groove had good music and ravers. That's about it.

The movie did not have a plot.

At least the 45 minutes of it until I turned it off.

Groove didint need a plot! It's good to just have ravers and music in it! Midnight run had neither.

i watched most of "late night sessions" and i remember watching "groove"

groove was better....it was at least funny sometimes.
