I really wish that all reality TV would just go belly up and die. If there's one thing I've found out about most of these reality shows, especially the competition based ones, is that they bring out the absolute worst in people. I don't get what the entertainment value is to watch people go out of their way to be mean, nasty, and hurtful to other people.

Watch a bloody sitcom... at least if they're being mean it's only acting. I think the world has enough assholes that we don't need to watch them on TV. I mean perfect example of the WORST in people: THE WILL - A reality show where contestants comepte for an old dieing man's estate. Seriously now, you people are scum....

hahaha, so much hate in this thread. i mean, this isn't the kind of show you watch for intellectual stimulation. it's the kind you watch to get a few cheap laughs and look at hot chicks say stupid things. it's entertaining.

and cdn_bdr, i agree some of these people act dispicably on these shows. however, they make the show, the show doesn't make them. sure, they dangle some bait out there for them, but this happens (not to the same extremes) all the time in real life -- its just televised now.

and so what if you think they're ugly? ugly people can't be on tv now?

^I think I'd just rather focus on the good in society as opposed to the bad. There is enough shit going on that I don't need to watch anything that furthers my knowledge of the decay of the human race. There ARE good people left on this planet and I find them to be much more intellectually stimulating than these morons on BAD TV!!
