90 minute cd's

where can i get them?

so far ive looked in futureshop, staples, and radioshack. none of them have them.

never heard of them. AFAIK 80 min's are the only ones available commercially.

There isn't any software out there yet that supports 90 min cd-r's. Those 90 min cd's seem sketchy.

nero supports it. i think with nero though you have to use the overburn feature.. anyways, ive decided against it. thanks for the replies everyone :)

Overburn is different than actually supporting a new format. And overburn is only for 80 min cd's so that you can burn extra 2 mins, making it 82 mins. However, overburn can damage your cd burner, so I wouldn't advice even trying it. Many people ruined their cd burners by trying to do that.

Nothing supports 90 mins yet.

yeah you're totally right, overburn's more like a hack to get the 90min cd working. i can understand how some people's burners get ruined as some lenses might not support the angle that the laser is coming out at

what really turned me off the 90min cds though was the fact that there was no guarantee they'd work in every cd player. ugghh

good job, but you might want to minimise your demo a lill more to 60-75 minutes?
80 minutes cd's are easy to find ;)
70 minute cd's are cheeper ;) ;)
