At first glance I thought to myself "here comes another lame-movie-inspired game". I couldn't have been more wrong. The games story is actually based on events that took place before the movie which makes it very interesting for the true fans of the movie. In the first few missions you find out about butcher bay and a little of Riddick’s past. Apparently if you play it from start to finish you'll understand the movie a lot more. I haven’t beat it so don't ask me. Another cool aspect of the game is that Vin Diesel & Xzibit are actually casted for voiceovers which gives it that more realistic feel. There's nothing more annoying than having to listen to a voice actor who sounds nothing like the real deal.

Secondly, the game looks super tight. The graphics are nothing short of amazing and the sound is bang on. It's based off the HL source engine so it's crystal clear on any half decent video card. The game play is quite unique and offers you several ways to play it. You can either be stealth or ruthless. I chose the latter and wound up getting thrown in the slammer countless times because I chose to strangle, choke and snap the neck of every victim I ran into. You can also punch your victim to death, stab them or overpower their gun and make them send a shotgun shell into their own dome. So whether you like the double 0 shit or prefer to go ruthless you'll enjoy giving this title a whirl.

Test System:
- Asus A8n SLI
- Dual Leadtek 6800gts
- AMD 3500+
- 2GB PC 3200

AI: 8/10
-Good, will try to outfox you and kill you quick
-Not completely mindless
-Multiple deaths and firing positions
-Cool laser sights allows the player to track the enemy in the dark

Graphics: 9.5/10
-Requires a fast comp and decent vid card to truly enjoy it.
-Awesome Textures, shadows and lighting
-Smooth character textures
-Impressive fire, explosions and visuals
-Uses all of the newer video card features incl anisotropic filtering

Sound & Music: 9/10
-Great music throughout the game
-No annoying repetitive melodies
-Crisp gunshots, explosions and death screams
-Realistic weapon sounds
-Riddick’s macho voices are quite humorous

Highlights:
-Awesome Feel
-One of the best games for stealth, period.
-Cool one player missions and lots of killing
-Decent challenges
-Macho talk from Vin Diesel is great
-Big levels
-The game flows nicely from stage to stage
-Great Auto-saving
-Spooky Ambience & adult themes

Weak Points:

-Lack of more combat moves..maybe kicking?
-Would love to see multiplayer
-Shorter than some games

Overall this game is dope. Huge props to those involved and one of the best movie-titled games period. This game will give you 10 + hours of solid carnage.

Enjoy
