I gotta say at first I was going to see this just cause it looked intresting...
the marketing and promotion for this movie has got me hyped for it now lol.

I dug out my dads oldddd version of the book and am currently reading.
if they can do a half decent job of being true to the book...it should be fan-fucking-tastic.

well.. it is spielberg. He is known to hollywoodize his storylines.
Honestly, I have not read the books for many of his movies like Jurassic Park.. but I was greatly dissapointed when i saw "The Color Purple". buuullllshit hollywood ending.

the jurassic park books are totally different than the movies. the first book has way more bloody scenes than the second book, which is reversed in the movies.

spielberg is usually predictably entertaining. meaning you get nothing really new out of his movies, but they're like a warm hug from an old friend. there are a couple exceptions.

Yeh the second jurrasic park book is wayy better then the movie, even some of the characters and concepts were stripped away for the movie.

oprah says it's the most anticipated movie of all Time (ppssss...i guess she never heard of the last movie to "star wars")

war of the worlds should be an awesome movie though. the book was good and the radio broadcast of it was hilarious.

im not sure what to expect. i am no longer going to go into movie with hype. out of the last god i dont even know how many movies i was hyped for i came out dissapointed about 80% of the time. ah wells ill still watch it regardless but im not too hyped about it.
