Me and You and Everyone We Know

I went to see a pre-screening of Me and You and Everyone We Know (it should be coming out soon @ 5th Ave. and other cinemas). It is directed by Miranda July, who also plays a main role in the film. It received a special jury prize @ Sundance for originality of vision, and won more prizes @ Cannes, including Camera d'Or. The cast does a great job and I definitely recommend checking it out once it hits the theatre!

I even won a prize draw at the screening right after commenting on how I never win those things. Funnier that I was talking about female directors before the movie and mentionned Sophia Coppola, and in the prize package, one of the items was the DVD for Welcome to the Dollhouse!

Welcome to the Dollhouse was my x-roomies fav movie... I think she watched the bathroom scene 5 billion times and still laughed her head off.

Thanks for the recommendation! I think I'll walk the few blocks and check it out.
