Video Game(s) Live

Ok, so I am just sitting here absent-mindedly watching TV and I see a commercial for this..
Video Games Live is coming to Vancouver. So for a small fee you can go see an orchestra play songs from some of your favorite video and computer games, such as Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, Mario, etc etc.
I just thought this was kind of an odd event for an orchestra..

What do you guys think? And would any of you actually go to it?! I know I sure as hell wouldn't, might be interesting to hear but that's about it.

oh what the.. holy crap, yes. if these people play anything from any final fantasy game i am there without a doubt, oh yea, zelda music is kickass too and totally worth going to.

Not my idea of a great show.... musically I guess it would be cool but I can't go that far into the depths of geekdom.

Well I went to this show where they had this giant screen of video game footage and this orchestra played music to it.... I FELT LIKE I WAS IN THE GAME!!!!!
