Amazingly, the book reads almost like a screenplay of the movie. It does clear up a few things that seemed nonsensical, though (did you know that was actually a wolverine?).

The rabid animal being tossed around at the Circus Circus. For some reason, the sound effects make it sound like an angry dog, and you never really get a good look at what that animal is.

One of my favourites! Ive seen that movie probably too many times.

The book is a really good read too even if you have seen the movie!

oh mannn.. i almost made a thread about this when it was on this afternoon.. gotta love that depp and deltorez... or however u spell his last name. that movie is wayy to many kinds of fucked up... its even worse when i can relate part of the time to what their feeling... a very small part of the time though.. no mesculin for this girl

mushroom? oh please... that's nothing. I've watched the movie over 50 times, and you seem to find new things each time that you hadn't realized before. Each drug that you do can change the whole perspective of the movie for you. It's like watching the movie for the first time! The book is still better than the movie....
