Finally got to catch the Dark Knight tonight, I'd give it an 8.5/10. It certainly wasn't as good as I'd heard from pretty much everyone. Ledger was a good Joker, but Nicholson definitely was better. I also thought they could've put the story together a bit better. It seemed way too slow for the first hour and a half, before cramming a crazy amount of action in the last hour. It was definitely a good movie, but I think Batman Begins was slightly better.

i know he did it in batman begins.. but batman's growly throat voice really got on my nerves in this one..

Pineapple Express

6/10 if i'm being very generous.....it's probably more like a 5 out of 10

I can think of maybe 3 moments that actually made me laugh....the rest was just full of a bunch of weak, trying-to-be-funny shit. Aside from talking about weed and smoking a bunch of weed, there wasn't much funny stoner shit.

James Franco was surprisingly good, though the script was still lacking solid opportunities for him to say anything funny.

The ending dragged on with pointless action and almost nothing funny, before coming to a predictable, weak conclusion.

I have a feeling Seth Rogan is running out of his 15 mins. Then again I've seen a lot of ppl saying "OMG TAHT MOVIES WAS HILARIOUS!11! LOLZ!! SUPERBAD!!11"

Pretty damn funny. Totally takes all the stereotype Poker Players that you see on TV and runs with it. I enjoyed this movie.

Way better than pineapple express. Lots of stupid shit but definately more laughs and a WAY better story with interesting, funny characters. Also some good critiques/comments on the whole hollywood/star scene. It was a good effort but I'm still yet to be really impressed with a comedy from the last few years.
