i believe that the nintendo revolution will be the best of the new generation of consoles, then again its all about the games...

i will personally be purchasing a new nintendo revolution when it comes out simply because super smash bros is a launch title, again if anyone wants to challenge me in a super smash bros for gamecube, im game

for the straight up console gaming as i know it, xbox360

revolution looks interesting, would be a good way to get the older generation into gaming, i don't know too much about gaming but the controler thing sounds interesting.

I'm sure some XBOX360 folks will be kicking themselves for not waiting until Playstation 3 comes out. While the technical specs for the Revolution are mostly speculation and unknown, the PS3 is on its way. I'll be at the front of the line getting mine. :)

I'm glad i sold all my gaming stuff a few years ago for records. The value would be much lower right now. I'm not sure what i'll buy. I'll wait to see which has more to offer.

But i'll probably end up with all 3. I'm really stoked on Gears of War and Too Human (Microsoft's answer to God of War) and if they are 360 exclusives then I'll definately be buying one. Provided the old games are cheap enough on the download service, I will be buying a Revolution as well. The PSP just doesn't seem fast enough for emulating certain classics such as Killer Instinct, plus I'd rather get my arse handed to me on a larger screen, with a controller I can throw if I feel the urge.

But all in all, I will be first in line for a PS3. I just had the best gaming experience of my life with the Resident Evil 4 port for PS2. PS3's Resident Evil 5 is obviously going to mop up the 360 version. Plus you've got Capcom's Playstation exclusive Devil May Cry 4, and all the multi platform games that just play better on the Playstation, ie EA Big games, Tony Hawk, Grand Theft Auto etc.

And just for kicks my PSP will act as an additonal controller. WHUT?!?!?!

i'll be waiting for the nintendo revolution. i'll get a PS3 too cuz i do want to play some games with the best possible graphics. but i think the nintendo is going to go behond just good graphics. they say this machine and its games will be targeted towards gamers of all ages plus they hope to pull in people who never played games before. apparently third party support for the revolution has been much more than anticipated and these companies are looking forward to developing games for this system. nintendo never really had strong third party development and thus the lack of games for the last 2 home systems. but i think this time around it going to be different. plus the fact that you can download every game title made for any nintendo machine. so you can play all the oldies that you used to have that your brother sold at the pawn shop insted of hitting up swap meets and paying ridiculous prices for 8 and 16 bit software. i dunno, something to look forward to. im sure PS3 will be great too, dont really like xbox.

Its a close one between the Ps3 and Nintendo for me. Ps3 will probably have more games and better graphics,
But nintendo will have fun, unique games exclusive to it's platform.
If i had the finances, i'd go with Both..... no x-box for me :P

I'm not a big fanboy, but I'm waiting for the PS3. XBOX 360 looks great, but I've always loved the exclusive games for PS better. Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, etc.

Nintendo's weird controller really turns me off. Yeah sure, it's "revolutionary." I'd give it a try, but I like to just sit down and get into it, without having to get used to an unorthodox controller.

I'd love to get all three though haha.
