What's a kickass old school RPG?

Ok I've got a lot of time on my hands at work lately and I've been wanting to get into another RPG to pass the time. I love the final fantasy series, chrono trigger, and pretty much anything that involves swords, magic, axes, armor, and all that shizzle. But it seems like a lot of the newer RPGs are all about the lazers and photon-douche and are all futuristic shit. I just want a classic RPG, dammit!!!

So does any one know of something that could fit this description?

Any of games in the The Elder Scrolls (boodmoon,tribunal, morrowind,oblivion)series. Fable was alright too.

Legend of Gaia was cool for Super NES.... actually there was a lot of cool RPG'd for the Super NES. I'll be damned if I can rememeber what half of them were called though.....

yeah.. I have BG2 for the xbox and it's just a hack and slash.... nowhere near the depth of the PC games. I actually played BG2 on the PC through to the end with the Darkest Day mod.... it had some pretty cool stuff in it.

I own Alice in Wonderland as well for a good hack and slash.....

Some of my faves that I haven't finished but that I go back to from time to time, and not necessarily that old; Dungeon Seige and Neverwinter Nights.

Dungeon Siege was meh..... pretty hack and slashy too but I had fun with it.

I have lent a few out. But they are all classics, and I will play all of them until I can't anymore! :(
